I found a 1980s Gucci bag at a Goodwill near me. I paid 20$ for it. Had it authenticated and it’s valued at $3500.. My gawd that was a find.. And she is in amazing condition for how old she is.. Hardly any wear. It looks like who ever had her just had her sitting on a shelf in their closet with other stuff piled on top of her.

I once found the same bag, but in black, at a thrift outlet and only paid $2 for a Marc Jacobs bag! But I’ve never ever had the issue we’re I have to hide stuff in my cart in the 10+ years that I’ve been thrifting. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I once found a Chanel quilted bag at a thrift shop, it was Legit! Paid $5 for it. I should have tried selling it on eBay but I wore it until it fell apart. This was years ago….

I remember going into this small thrift store that honestly seemed like nobody went to that much and oh my god, the shoes they had, they had Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Alexander Wang, and all these other top brands. I mean the shoes were obviously worn on the bottom but overall, they still looked great! These shoes were not common in my area which is why I was shocked why people would mostly just pass by it. They also had a few jackets but a lot were stained unfortunately. The owner was an old man and he was just so sweet.

The thrifts in LA, specifically the Goodwills, are comically overpriced. Saw a spindle of used dollar tree ribbon priced at $10 the other day. I also see items with original tags still on and the goodwill price will be 2-3x retail. They will take anything with a recognizable brand, regardless of condition or value, and price it for like 2 bucks below it's value if it were new in the store. It is so sketchy, I almost feel like whomever prices them are just messing with the customers.

I found 2 coach purses at my local thrift store for 99 cents a piece.

I live in a small community in manitoba that sometimes they don't know what they have.

I found Gucci & micheal kors purses too for a dollar each ❤

My mom found a burberry wallet when she used to work at a thrift store. The owner let her keep it and she passed it on to me. :') It's very worn now but good lordt I love that wallet.

Oklahoma thrift stores check everything. Anything Name brand or Designer is behind a glass case and hundreds of dollar's!!

I found a old Steve Madden bag (the design was only in the UK or something) and it was only 9 dollars! I found it on my birthday. We found out when my dad saw the brand name store, and my mom looked it up a couple days later. The original design was like 150 dollars or something
