Lauren Reviews VILMA Micro Dwarf Tomato!

Hey there, fellow tomato heads!

As I’ve mentioned in previous videos, I am on a quest to review every single variety of micro dwarf that I can get my hands on!

I currently have 88 varieties of micro dwarf tomatoes, and it is my intention to eventually grow, save seeds, and review every single variety that I’m able to obtain!

Today I’m reviewing a variety that I’ve had growing indoors all winter long called VILMA-a variety from the Czech Republic.

I think micro dwarf tomatoes are a great way to not only grow tomatoes indoors during the winter months but also for those who don’t have access to a garden to be able to grow on windowsills or hydroponic units such as Aerogardens or mason jars (via the Kratky method.)

Check out my review of VILMA and find out what I think of how it grows, its size, and most importantly….how it tastes!

If you’re enjoying our VERY new channel so far, we would be so GRATEFUL if you subscribed! I intend to bring you tips, epic fails, ideas, experiments, and all things tomato!!! If you are a fellow tomato head, you will want to subscribe!

Thanks, gang!

Peace, love, & get your GRATITUDE on!

Love, Lauren & Rob Zalewski

Hi Mrs. Tomato head, I just discovered your delightful channel! I'm from Slovakia and was just researching the Vilma tomato, which here is a common "bush" or balcony tomato. I was wondering if it was any good and found your channel. I'm definitely going to grow it now in my Aerogarden since the season is over.
There's another popular Czechoslovakian variety called 'Aztek', which produces yellow tomatoes. Have you tried it?

I loved your video! I'm only growing 6 varieties on my kitchen counter and they are doing well. Since they are determinant they will end its life cycle. But I'm wondering if I could propagate a cutting and grow a new plant without starting from seeds again. Have you tried this yet? Wondering if that would be successful.

I'm growing a couple of Micro's this year, Vilma being one of them. Vilma is just showing its first flower buds, ahead of Hahm's Gelbe Topf Tomate. Vilma seems quite early to me.

I just started some Vilma. Mine are growing slowly. I can't wait to try my first micro mater. I have those same 1-gallon grow bags.

I have a son named Riley.

Great video.

I would love to know which lights you like best?

Nice Vilma's. They are perfect for hydroponic growing as well. I grow them here in Sweden with great success.

I love your video presentation of growing micro dwarf tomatoes. You did very well but later in other videos could you include the types of grow lights you used to grow them and also the types of soil mixes and the fertilizers you use. Keep up making more videos because I really love them. Thanks for sharing

Hi, nice video. Micro tomatoes are cool. How many days or weeks does it take from seed to harvest? And you dont have to have them in a grow tent?
