This is a great technique for creating subtle fade sets. 👍🏻

This is gorgeous yarn! It reminds me of colors you may see on a snowy day. <3

Wow! The yarn turned out really pretty! Never thought it would be that pretty but you have the touching hand! Hope you have a blessed day

The color that you ended up with really speaks to me!!! I love color but prefer the WEAR neutrals. This yarn gives the best of both worlds. From a distance, the garment would read neutral, but up close there are so many colorful little gifts there. So, so nice!

I'm definitely curious how this would change depending on the amount of yarn. I would love to see more videos exploring this idea changing up either the type or amount of yarn, or the colors of dye (complimentary colors vs analogous like in this video)!

This came out great love the end result 😍
The process you use was fun to watch, it was like looking at a lava lamp 💞

This yarn is a good candidate for some countertop speckling, use the navy & green. Sharp speckles combined with the blurry ones would be a cool effect.

I’m about to start my first dye adventure. That grey?. That’s exactly the shade and texture I hope to achieve!

This technique takes less time than the paint brush. I think I would dye the yarn first in a light pastel color, and then go with the eye dropper, but with a little less water. It simply takes time to add small modest spots to the bath, with either a paint brush or eye dropper. But, yarn lovers love those little spots of color. You would have to invent some sort of gadget to eye drop several drops at a time, which would save you tons of time. Beautiful colorway!

Ooooh what if you did this with twisted skeins? Maybe do drops of one color, then retwist to do another?

I feel like this technique would be really great for adding depth and dimension to solid colours that just look too flat.
