I agree with you on non linear learning: in my physical chem book in topic liquid solutions we have the use of ice table in vant hoff section but the chapter chemical equi is taught next which contains ice table. And even in the case of mole concept the author has put questions og normality in chapter 1 and then taught normality in next which completely increases my learning and interest in subject

Everyone takes in the information differently, so when teaching the information comes out differently

I consider that nobody actually takes the information linearly even if texts are written linearly.

Our brain automatically and simultaneously reassemble them in more higher dimensional way.

So I do get the point of what you always emphasize (cons of linear information)

but I actually think rather that even if we store information linearly, we dont take them linearly. storing them linearly is just for our convenience.

I don't understand what is linear and non linear learning

So what is the solution then I feel really confused whenever he talks about learning I have only about two and a half months before exams and almost fivemonths before my competitive exam in August because I took a drop year for med school.If someone can help me plz reply because I find his knowledge very confusing as my on of the exams are more subjective type while the other one is objective type containing alot of conceptual questions right now both are important and difficult for me .

I do not like the idea of just saying "learning is not logical" of course the context here is only related to the linear way of getting and manipulating the information about things that cannot even have a structure to be processed like that. But there's a sense of the logical way to process the data even in a personal manner. Learning must involve logic, .
