2:15 She says, “The bank has to hold up some responsibility with this.” It was not any failure of the bank that enabled this scam. It was her getting fooled by the scammers sounding, as she said herself, just like the bank does. It’s been a decade at least that these scams have been so prevalent and widespread and WIDELY DISCUSSED everywhere online and in communities. If you don’t know by now to address ANY matter with the bank by first calling their printed number on your card or statement - or if you do know to do this and still forgo it for one reason or another - the ONLY responsibility lies with you. This is old news (and also old news as it pertains to this clickbait title).

The bank puts countless failsafes in place to prevent people from falling victim to this, but until they provide every individual customer with a dedicated employee that lives, eats, and sleeps next to the customer 24/7 in order to intercept any potential scam calls/emails then people like this woman will always insist that the company is responsible for the actions of a scammer.

Please people stop falling for the, "There's an arrest warrant out for you and to get out of it you need to get an iTunes gift card to pay your fine".

Making it look like it's a new thing.
It's pathetic that awareness for what's clearly the worst thing that can happen to you it's next to nothing

Banks responsibility is not to make sure you don't let them into your account they are responsible for holding your money's. U need to make due diligence in covering your assets. No pun intendid
