Miss Saigon is currently playing down here in Melbourne. I went to see it the other day, and during the whole show, and every time I looked at the posters in the lobby, I couldn't stop thinking of this gag!

I think this is a jab at the original London production of “Miss Saigon” that featured a white actor (Jonathan Pryce) playing one of the main Asian roles with tacky eye prosthetics.
