18:30 I dont think there is a downside considering you can always go back to college at any point… the only real risk is maybe connections you potentially could miss out on within your age group if you went directly after high school but even that is minimal if said student is moderately driven

While a degree is not an absolute necessity in today's job market, it can provide valuable signals to employers. A person with a degree demonstrates a level of commitment, responsibility, and dedication that may not be as evident in those without formal qualifications.

Also, Im glad the idea was mentioned that women are skewed to see a college degree as the end all be all. Makes it tough on the dating spectrum because some women will automatically write you off if you don't have a degree.
