Instead of going island hopping on tour.. i rented a fisherman to do the tour for me, and costed me only 2.8k pesos

See how they agreed on the 70$ compared to the original price of 120$? It's obvious that the prices aren't fixed and they're just trying to see if you'll click the bait.

Edit: I'm Filipino, trust me, this is overpriced. It's a tourist price. While it is true that most Filipinos depend their livelihood in this and should ask for double the price from tourists but trust me, in this case this is too much. Most people initial thought when they see tourists is "money." Y'all be careful!

My husband and I paid about $75 for a day in Coron for a private tour. That was in 2019. $120 is a bit much. It's a good thing you got a deal for 70 bucks.

Even as a Filipino citizen we got ripped off by that we heard advices that we should book tours at hotels or travel agency in the island, police are regularly patrolling to stop them but they actually know when to hide

there is a govenment tourist booth in the middle the once with tent it has the basic prices and way more affordable thatn the garbage price he gave you. 4000cpesos that gave me a hopping island tour + scuba dive and zip line with AV

It's expensive because you rent the whole boat.. that supposed to be for groups to share the rental fee
