Personally I spent 5k on it and never had an issue claiming at a profit. To do so you had to read the white paper carefully, mint a low gwei and claim at lows gwei so you had to time your mints, never paid more than 7 gwei to mint and 20 to claim. You also had to keep some ETH acquired at lows cost on the side for that. This is the moment I was waiting for, when people like you cannot claim, because it means miners are getting underwater and price can finally go up
