Some time ago a very dear friend wrote to me in view of Friendship on YouTube "I'm grateful for this Oasis of Loving Harmony". She couldn't have found better words!:) Inspired by her words I made this little video just to wish all of you a blissful and peaceful weekend. Thank you for your friendship! :)

" The Luxury of Life is simply to be able to appreciate and enjoy the Beauties of it" (unknown Author)

Enjoy it :))

I very much like the violin transposition than the piano from whence it came. This is a fairly good version, but I heard one years and years ago which I thought superior to all, The problem is, I cannot remember the artist, conductor, etc. But again, this is good and thank you for sharing!

You may be so right in what you say ... however ~ this composition + title lend themselves to this kind of interpretation ... no?
True ... the Schumanns weren't sentimental. But they weren't happy either. Could a small dose of Kitsch perhaps change your perception for 2:55 minutes?
