Will methylated spirits run in an engine?

Same deal as last video just spirits (alchohol)

Before I knew shit about turbo's I bought a car that was designed for water/methanol injection. Since I didn't know what "methanol" was I thought it was mentholated spirits! So I put Metho in the injection tanks instead. Turns out the combination of metho and water made a pretty good charge cooler, which is what I needed as the engine produced way more power than anyone would ever need. I just wanted it not to explode on me! Metho worked. Now I know it's basically Ethanol, a poor mans Methanol.
