En el poderoso firmamento de la Tierra,
en los confines de las galaxias arremolinadas,
bajo el sol,
en una florcita, en el canto del bosque,
en la música de la voz de una madre,
o en las lágrimas...
En algún lugar la inmortalidad perdura,
y se encontrará la armonía original.

"Regiväli" is an eight-part large-scale piece for mixed choir and string orchestra. The music is based on regis songs and the main character is a necromancer. The work is introduced by Pärt Uusberg.

Pärt Uusberg talks about the initial impulses and sources of inspiration for the work. "Basically, it is possible to see it as a necromancer's love story, " says the composer.

Performed by the chamber choir Head ööd, vend, the string orchestra Collegium Consonante and conductor Pärt Uusberg.

The concert was recorded at the Viljandi Traditional Music Festival in the Viljandi Baptist Church on July 28, 2023. Sound director Teet Kehlmann.
