It was so sweet how that reporter came up to them. Just imagine, that he went to his favorite place to grab breakfeast and heard about 'three kind young men asking around about starting a party' and he was like, 'Well that's a story!' and quickly got into his car looking for them.
The way he approaches them is so sweet. Bless this town, feels like radiator springs from Cars.
