I was riding the train when a gentleman asked me for the time. Being the kind soul that I am I showed him the time on my watch, without realizing that I was in France and had forgotten to set my watch to the local time. The next time I saw him he was on the platform being grilled by the police.

i didn't know old grenades worked like this. new grenades release a hammer which strikes the primer directly, i imagine this is done because it is safer than constantly holding a firing pin under tension. it also saves space and weight
