How do you add an e sim all the options in the sim section on my phone ate grey and you can't select them all the directions online say do do things that my phone won't let me do I've done the set up twice now

But during this set up process on my new A52 the phone does not recognise my CORRECT password. Tried several times, same issue. I can go no further! I'm stumped to go forward because I can't find an answer to this issue anywhere online!
