Mother and baby koalas stopping traffic - Part 1 🔴 Victoria, Australia

The koala (Phascolarctos cinereus), sometimes called koala bear, is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial native to Australia. It is the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae and its closest living relatives are the wombats.

The koala is found in coastal areas of the mainland's eastern and southern regions, inhabiting Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.

It is easily recognisable by its stout, tailless body and large head with round, fluffy ears and large, spoon-shaped nose. The koala has a body length of 60–85 cm (24–33 in) and weighs 4–15 kg (9–33 lb). Fur colour ranges from silver grey to chocolate brown.

People should have stepped back! The koalas were probably scared and confused. 😢 But thanks sooo much for helping them get off the road before a car hits them (as happens terribly often )

The koalas are actually smarter than all of the whimsical people in this video! 🤣🤣🤣 They are instinctively confused and scared because the higher species doesn’t seem to have any clue whatsoever!

I think the mommy koala and her baby are scared of the people! Good the mommy koala started to climb the tree,
then the baby followed! Thank you to the people who helped them climb the tree!
