'Survivor 43' Winner Makes History by Donating Entire $1 Million Prize to Charity

The fact that Gabler made this announcement AFTER he won Season 43 showed that his intent was genuine. If he had made this statement during FTC, then it would have lost impact and viewed as tacky ploy to try to convince the jurors. Thank you, Gabler as one time military vet. 👏

Not the winner we wanted, but the winner we needed. Even tho I did not expect Gabler to win, I'm so happy he did over Cass and Owen.

Its so refreshing to see an older guy win for a change. He was smart playing both sides, he didn't piss any one off, he was under the radar but calculated his moves, Gabler was also liked by all tribe members and people wanted to trust and work with him. well done Gabler, A deserving winner.

He is a heart valve specialist and he came into Survivor knowing he would always donate his winning to a good cause. He made the most uprising room in history of Survivor, but special props to Jesse for playing an awesome game and his family would also be proud.

In a world full of talk without action, it's amazing to see this man put his money where his mouth is to help others instead of himself. What a great man. We should all follow his example and help others whenever we have an opportunity to do so.

This man donating his entire $1 million prize to help veterans deserves a ton of credit, most people would not do that. The men and women who fight for our Country deserve more than what they've been getting. They put their lives on the line for us, and I will always be grateful for their service. God Bless the men and women past and present who fought and still fight for our Country, and God Bless Mike Gabler for his contribution to help our Nations veterans.
