I have the Complete Jewish Bible and enjoy referring to it. Also, use the Bible in Logos Bible Software and today I ordered my copy of the Complete Jewish Study Bible, along with Restoring the Jewishness of the Gospel: A Message for Christians. Wanted to learn more about the Jewish Faith and Customs throughout history, during the time of Yeshua and how that translates into the Apostles writings for us today.

Note: Dr. Stern translated the New Testament and published in the 1980s as the Jewish New Testament. The Old Testament Tanakh was the JPS English Translation that was open source at the time of the CJB creation. The JPS was modified as the editor and publisher saw fit. It would be incorrect to say the CJB was translated completely by Dr Dsvid Stern, of blessed memory.
