Here is an update on the next round of stimulus and the stimulus check negotiation and the HEALS Act Negotiation for late on August 7, 2020 after Donald Trump's sudden press conference in New Jersey at one of his Golf Courses. This discussion centered on the pandemic, the eviction ban extension, Trump's executive order, Trump's executive order on unemployment, Trump's executive order on payroll taxes & student loans.

Republicans are discussing NO money for state and local governments and want to keep the package at $1 trillion dollars. They're also discussing a payroll tax deferral, money for schools, liability protections, PPP funding, targeted stimulus checks, and some extension for unemployment insurance.

If/When the next package does pass, I'm sure enough people learned from the first one that it won't be enough. Even if the extra unemployment benefits continue, it will take on a new form that will be even less than what ended in July. This is being used mainly for political purposes especially since elections are very close. 2020 ain't over yet, hang onto your hats!
