📣 New life – new name 📣
Do you remember former bile bear Hai Chan🐻? After her rescue we discovered that her name actually means “two legs” in Vietnamese, which refers to her disability, which we strongly believe was caused directly by humans. It is our view that we should not refer to an animal in a way that draws attention to something so negative from her past, which is why we have decided to give her a new name which has a positive meaning and truly reflects her spirit and personality. We feel this is the least she deserves! Therefore, from now on she will be named Nhi Nho, which means cheerful and playful in Vietnamese. This name sums up the behaviour she has shown us since she was rescued and started her rehabilitation at our BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh. 💖 Goodbye Hai Chan, Welcome Nhi Nho.
