Riccardo Chailly, Music Director of the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, introduces us to the Mendelssohn Festival.
Starting in 2022, the Lucerne Festival Orchestra will no longer be limited to performing in the summer. Each spring going forward, the ensemble will additionally lure classical music fans from all over the world to Lucerne. This year, the new Spring Festival will be devoted to Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and his contemporaries and will take place from 8. to 10. April at KKL Luzern.
