Call of duty is killing themselves.

I’ve bought every collectors edition since the beginning. I also really enjoyed MW19 and was looking forward to the sequel.

However, after Vanguard… it became clear activision refuses to listen to what players want. They will actually remove any feedback from their subreddit even if it’s constructive.

Anyways, no ninja perk is by far the biggest reason for MW19 and MW2 being so campy. The games are slow and it’s too realistic having someone hide in a corner and watch a single door ready to destroy anything that finds its way in. That combined with no hardcore flak jacket in vanguard… ruined the entire experience. Then they added walls as a perk. Then they took away ghost until 8 minutes into the game (which is the average search and destroy length)

Even if it doesn't kill COD, this is gonna be a much needed kick in the ass for Activision. They've been coasting on making mid games for far too long now.

"Modern visuals" I think about half of CoD's problem is trying to make the graphics too good, I could do without the 150+ gb download.

My hot take on Call of Duty is they should axe the multiplayer and go back to telling the stories of actual combat vets and the missions they undertook.

It’s gonna barely be a blip on the radar for call of duty. Call of duty players don’t really play anything other than call of duty especially when it comes to other FPS games. This game will come and go with no applause
