I really like using rivnuts. I have a small kit that has a tool that looks like a rivet tool. Works good for small rivnuts. Not so much for larger sizes. I need to order the larger hydraulic tool similar to what you use for crimping larger ring terminals

The small spanner driven rivnut fitting tool is ok if you only do a few at a time. My '47 truck has 30 on the front fenders and the pre-war English sports car fenders has 90 rivnuts. I bought a two handed tool. Amjoy Rivet Nut Tool 16'' Long Handles, comes with M5 M6 M8 M10、SAE 10-24、1/4-20、5/16-18、3/8-16 mandrels, about $45.
