Sea Ray celebrates the 45th anniversary of the Sundancer Series with a brand new outboard model. The Sundancer 370 Outboard combines thoughtful innovation, exhilarating power and enticing open spaces to ignite your passion for the water. Marilyn DeMartini walks us through this next generation Sundancer from stern to bow.

Sea Ray came out with this new boat with the aim of building a hybrid boat, combining a comfortable cruiser with an open bowrider, and they definitely hit the mark. She is very luxurious in bowrider terms, with a plush, versatile seating options in the bow along with creature comforts like cup holders and decorative accents throughout. But beyond being a great day boat and lounge-worthy bowrider, she's also a fully-capable weekend cruiser.

I like to go for long weekend cruises with another couple on board. My boat has two private staterooms with private heads. This boat has 1 and a half beds in one large open space, with a shared head. Plus, it's not a fully dedicated bed, it's a convertible sofa. That means every night, I have to clear all the 'stuff' from the area (duffle bags, clothes, pillows, etc) to convert the bed. Manufacturers are failing to realize how much 'stuff' people bring aboard, and what you really need for a weekend trip. Not to mention the outrageous pricing. When will 'real' boats be back?

+$700k starting price... this is getting absurd. The only reason the American market is supporting these outrageous prices is because coronavirus legislation allowed people to pull funds out of their 401K early. “Dealer Discount” stickers on these boats will be out on the floor by the fall.

Beautiful boat, they never give you a ball park figure, Somebody posted about 700k, and I believe it, which is ridiculous for people like me who are not stock brokers, hedge fund managers, congressmen, senators and drug dealers(all one in the same). Anyway, it is quite a boat, Would love to have it.

I like the big windows. With the 350, if you weren't a little person, you had to stand with the sunroof open to poke your head out to see out forward before it got onto plane.

For me, Galeon 375 GTO will be a better choice, better layout, opening side windows, normal aft sleeping cabin, opening balconies, etc.

Folks, Boats of this size and caliber are going to be and always have been expensive. You can still get a new Sea Ray 19' open bow for about $50K. But when you step up to this size and design the price tag is going to go up. It's always been like that even when I was selling Sea Rays back in the 1980's.
