The hair dryer I use on "iron eater", has a momentary cold switch. Easy fix, 2-3 wraps with electrical tape. Good show TingTing👍⚒️

This is basically the same principle i use when forging outside, the main difference with my forge is i have used sand on a old steel school desk to get it up off the ground as i find kneeling down a bit hard on the knees these days, like you said ting, just use what you have

You can also take some boards and build a wooden box to fill with some dirt and cover with some clay to make your dirtbox forge JT from Drasons forge has done this and they work great

Apart from the hair drier and pipe this is iron age technology but a good video, explains just how easy it is to forge if you are keen to try and don’t mind a bit of work to go forward! Thanks, I enjoyed watching.

Dumb question. Can you have too much air... I'm guessing it just gets hotter with more air. I used a shop vac before in my in ground forge and almost had mild steel dripping
