The Sims 4 Star Wars: Gameplay & Features Review

Today, I'm gonna be exploring deep into the new features introduced in The Sims 4 Star Wars Journey to Batuu game pack. Is it still a solid game pack after it's not well-received trailer announcement?

Unfortunately, I got the early access code a bit later than other EA game changers so this video got uploaded right after the pack's release date. And sorry for the "onlyabidoang" watermark! For some reason, the early access version of Sims 4 have your username watermark jumping around the screen. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the video :D

The way they handled aliens feels like something a mod would do as a result of modding limitations, EA had the full capability of making them new sim types but still took the same route.

i haven’t played the sims 4 in a while but jeez, is this really the quality of game packs coming out nowadays? this seems like you’re paying money for a bunch of fetch/filler quests, you’re doing the same thing over and over it seems like what else is there to do? and this seems to be extremely lazily made. the best thing imo about this is the aesthetic of the town, but other than that, what else is there that’s... fun? sure, you have the card games, light sabers and the droids, but most of the time those aren’t even used to do the main quests. i wouldn’t be paying money for this any time soon.

No new occult like Jedi/sith or alien
No new powers
No new supernatural eyes/teeth
Aliens cas parts are just disguise
No new death
No drama gameplay because Star Wars
No Jedi/sith/republic(senator) faction

The pack is basically a new vacation world with stars wars theme lmao

Star Wars itself doesn't really match with the free gameplay style of the Sims, it would be better if it was one of those Spin-off Sims games with story and everything

Honestly, this stuff pack is more better as a stand alone game similar to sims medieval.

I love star wars, and I really enjoy the sims but I really don't want star wars in the sims :/ Doesn't feel right

They were so lazy that alien skins only affect limbs and the head! And the clothing restriction on Batuu is one of the dumbest things they've done!

Since it was star wars and I knew they liked star wars, I was hoping they went all out for it. Add alien races, make this world like the alien world except more flushed out. I guess I just expected them to go crazy with the alien idea and build onto what they already had.

The shop keepers are sort of ok. It would have been nice if I could go into a store and actually look at what is in the store. Maybe like how old school gameboy games were, enter store, see item, talk to shop keeper to open said shop keeper dialog and buy items.

The amount of interactive items vs non interactive items is sort of the big problem with the sims 4. All that stuff and my sim can't do anything with it.

The Sims 4: Journey to Disneyland

It literally feels like all of these sims are just LARPing as Star Wars characters. Which definitely explains why the "aliens" are just people with masks, and why there's no actual force-sensitive occults.

Even no more skills? No new Aliens, even more Sims in Costumes. The only thing that i like are the roborts.. but where is C3PO? no i really dident need this Pack, next pleace.

I feel this pack like Strangerville. You do the let's play 1 or 2 times and then you just use it for the CAS and Build mode
