It's fascinating the fields of encryption and compression.

You and Veritasium both did a video on this aspect of encryption on the same day! Both are excellent quality!  i am quite likely to share your encryption videos with folks to get their circuits checked on this subject!

Absolutely captivating. Thank you so much for this riveting introduction to cryptography. The real life examples complete the lessons and are very interesting. More of that! I feel truly enlightened, as I finally grasp at concepts which I did not dare to research, as I presumed they would be too complex to learn. What I didn't fully understand was Periodicity and the example with the simple PRNG using 4 as a seed. I did not understand why the output started to loop.

in the first sequence you show in the Periodicity part (7:00), if every number is the seed for the next one, how come before the first "4" there's "1", but before every other "4" there's a "9"?

I have developed a totally different method for encryption. Is there somewhere I can send it to be tested to see if anyone can break it? It is unlike anything in these videos and I believe it can not be broken unless you understand the method of encryption.

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. I would like to eventually sell my encryption method in the end if it can hold up.

*truly random numbers must be distributed uniformly (NOT distributed normally)

I know a way of encryption that is so random that it almost isn't encryption
