I just feel like, if I'm paying for Netflix I should be able to view it on any device I want. The 3 TV's in my house my laptop, my boyfriend's computer, my tablet, my work computer. It's all me but, some aren't necessarily at my house. It's b.s.

Password is the least of their problem I wouldn’t be surprised if they are losing money not from password sharing but from embezzlement and fraud half the time it’s the ceo who still from their own company and they try to blame the users as the reason why they lost money instead of them being honest that there greed is there down fall back in the day Netflix made a few tv shows and they had good quality content but then they got greedy and they started producing low quality shows that were losing money because the tv show being written weren’t good at all . The movies became basic and generic Turing there company into another hallmark movies .most of the tv shows are cheesy and they lost their audience and they lost good writers in the process.

Netflix messed it up.
I was quite happy hardly using it myself, but paying 18.99 euros a month, in order to help a couple of friends.

password sharing stopped this, however I went on to offer Netflix to open up several accounts however they said I can only get one account for the email address I have, so now they get no mo from me, when they could have had 3 subscribers

Why I hope this fails. Other than it’s obvious shittyness is that overall it is bad for the consumer. If paid services with adds become the normal and non sharing of passwords works all the other services will eventually follow suit as a corporation will always choose to increase the bottom line with any practise they can get away with. I will never pay to be advertised to or pay a company to restrict where I can use the expensive 4 screens I used to pay for. Netflix dumping record billions in to failed and half baked content is honestly why I stopped logging in before this. They have some gems but the ratio is bad. Focusing on developing quality content takes time but I believe this is what Netflix will rise or fall on. Pumping billions in to half baked and rush projects as they have been is never a sound idea for any film/ tv studio.

I just don't get why cracking down on password sharing is such an issue, I mean, would it be fair to have someone buy a theatre ticket and then fill the entire seats with people that did not pay? The theatre put an exit door there, right? Why not use it.
