It is a shame that these players who proudly represent these countries and generate attention and possibly tourism have to endure racism. FIFA and any sports agency in Europe don’t take racism very seriously. Often times, I see a non-European player being punished harshly when committed the same exact foul as a European player. The officials should be investigated. The pundits who come on tv and speak recklessly about players representing their national team should be held accountable. As an American we cherish our national team like superheroes. Europeans should learn a thing or two.
