Sinai in the Philippines? No, not the mountain in Saudi Arabia but the name used on a French map from 1775. At that point, the Spanish had wiped out most all traces of Ophir and the Lost Tribes of Israel yet the French merely record the name used by the locals. We will vet the legend from the Spanish and prove out and locate the ancient Biblical land of Lost Tribes of Israel who are in the Land of Sinim. This question keeps flopping my head since I was a kid. And they came here (Spaniards) not just to enslaved us but even erased our names and replaced with their names. I am just lucky enough as my family name remain unchanged.

Actually, the natives were educated. Everyone, including women knew how to write Baybayin. There were written in bamboos.

We have thought that 1521 was the beginning of our history but in 1986, an ancient inscription was found in Laguna, The Laguna Copperplate Inscription. It was dated around 900 AD challenging the traditional notion of the Philippine history and culture. Actually when the Spanish came to this settlement they asked what's the name of the place, and the locals just answered literally in their dialect "Sinay it" which literally translated as "this is Sinay" in Ilocano.

The "sea-faring warlike" wearing with Tirongs and traveled fast by sail-boat were known as the "Sea Gypsy" and they are the "Badjao Tribe". Even before Magellan came, these people used to live on the sea and traveled most across the sea of Asia and the Islands of Archipelago. Most of them remained with their primitive culture (living on a sea) and settled on the Island of Mindanao. They are the most peaceful people in contrary to the description of the History as published above.
