The thing I love about Dana's channel is that she doesn't clickbait you into watching a 20 minute video to get to the conclusion. She leads with it, THEN explains. Made me an instant subscriber when I was looking for speedpaint reviews!

I like the idea from Dana. Such a starter set would be great!

Petition to name a cream/off-white Speedpaint “Howling Sand.”

It would be really neat if you could make a "Mixer" set with bigger bottles of CMY + Medium and extra empty bottles so that anyone can mix and match their own colors. Then you could have the ability of fan made colors being submitted and mass produced if Army Painter likes them!

I like the starter set idea. A set that by default allows for slapchop would be great. Gray brush-on primer, a white, a drybrush, regular brush, and those basic speedpaint colors to mix and get what you need. I don't think it needs miniatures though, I think people who want to get into painting minis already have a project in mind, and keeping the price low would be a priority, I think.

Army Painter ROCKS! Not only do you listen to what the public wants, but now you've brought in other painters.
I really like how your systematically introducing the new team one by one... and yes...a SpeedPaint starter set like the Gamemaster range would be way cool. Thanks for that idea Dana.

Great work @The Army Painter. I'm psyched to see the results of this project!

Nice to see such collaboration between painters, that’s what we all need: communication and support, doesn’t matter a brand or paints, the hobby unifies all of us. Vallejo, AK, Citadel or Army Painter, doesn’t matter, it what we want in the end of the day.

Love watching Dana! I use bright saturated colours in my miniature painting, and I havnt found many YouTubers that paint like I do. She's the closest to my style, and watching her videos is so satisfying.

Love that Army Painter reached out to the almighty Dana (meant as compliment), and the idea of a brainmatter beige Speedpaint. It would be cool to have a giftable little set to give to friends who take an interest.

She learned off Vince V. He's also amazing! Looking forward to seeing Dana share her thoughts with thoughts on the new releases!

One of the things I like about AP is their bundles and complete sets. Whatever you settle on for colors, offer the giant mega set 😃

I think the team touched on a big idea here with the starter paint set. I got into painting with the reaper basics paint set that came with 3 minis, a couple brushes, some paints, a pallet, and a step by step guide to paint each mini with the base coat, wash, drybrush technique. If AP could do that with speedpaints, that would be super great for getting people into the hobby in a very convenient way

The two colors I really want is 1) a brow-ish yellow, a yellow that doesn’t make you happy if that makes sense, and 2) a darker red similar in tone to Vallejos acrylic Gory Red, absolutely love that color and reds in general.

And if you’re making a starter set as Dana and Goober were talking about then maybe add a Dark Tone wash. Works great if you use it over primer and then Speedpaint over it, gives real nice shadows if you’re careful about pooling or coffee stains :)

Not currently a big army painter fan for anything but accessories (mixer balls, some brushes) and tufts (You have great tufts). So I am not your best customer. I am willing to be swayed though, and I am watching. Dana, Ninjon, and Goobertown are 3/4 favorite YouTube painters. I assure you, you have my attention, and I want to save money. Keep doing things right. I am entranced so far.

Single pigment Speed Paints!!! Heck single pigment warcolors would be great also, something where we could mix our own custom colors and an alternative to the perpetually out of stock Kimera Kolors.

Love Dana's channel and her videos. I pretty well learned to paint by watching her vids and the rest of the YouTubers on this video.
And yes, I also want more speed paint colors. I love the idea of some good primary saturated colors and way, way more skin tones. And a real white, instead of that greyish white whatever-it-is. Lol

they are right on the money ! Loved the starter set of the previous speed paints, but to upgrade it and add a Primer, acrylic highlight, and the rest of the speed paint line would be perfect!

I'm all in for single pigment speedpaints. I don't have contrast or speedpaints yet because I like mixing my own colors with single pigment heavy body acrylics a lot! But having an alternative with different properties would be awesome.
