The Image: I like the darkened, empty dormitory after the soldiers have left their warm beds to go marching in the mountains, plus of course that look of grim determination of the soldier in my thumbnail..

(A commentator kindly reminded me of this grim, but powerful film based on a short story - a bit like Winter Sleep from which I also curated some clips...)

It's up to your taste ofc but I think you should take a look again for some scenes.
There's a scene that the commander asks a soldier named Vedat, if he's ready after asking him about his He answers "If she's gonna cheat on me, I'm ready.", and the commander, "Not that, the conflict my son.". Then talks with the medic and another soldier that a bank employee in his civil life. This scene placed in about half of the movie.
