Ahhh the nostalgia! I spent a disgusting amount of time playing myth II multiplayer in the nineties, even got to play with a team in a few myth world cups.

Wow and Wow! This is fantastic news. I'm very excited about this and amazed at how much time and effort has been out into it. I've been playing Myth since it's release in 1997 and it remains probably my favorite game of all time even today. The most exciting addition to me is having the in game narration during coop. I'm so happy to see that as I want to introduce my friends to the game. Zooming out is excellent too and the other features mentioned, this is excellent!

Thanks for this video!  I normally far prefer reading instructions over watching instruction videos...but there's so much to read in Myth, and this just got some stuff across quickly, effectively, and easily.  I learned something!

It's still alive and kicking! Still have tournaments etc. It's not super populated but on a good night or tourny weekends there will be 50+ I think.

You need to download a detail texture plugin to get them to show up. For instance, the Detail Texture Megapack linked at Project Magma is a good place to start.

Myth is still played actively online. Current server is GateOfStorms, check it out.
For those who don't know, Bungie sold the rights to Myth and the people who bought it (Take 2) are just sitting on those rights as they waste away. There are ways to acquire the game if you don't have the disc anymore...

Well done! Why doesn't Bungie just throw $100k at this project to revamp the models? The mechanics, community, and engine of the game are still so incredible. 15 years old and nothing else comes close.
