Rachel you never know what influence you will have on someone, but I just need to tell you how you have helped me through a difficult situation in my life. I am in the middle of chemotherapy and radiation therapy and there are days that I just have no appetite. I love watching you cook ….you are so charming and your dishes look so delicious, it whets my appetite so I can eat a little bit! When I get back on my feet, I’m going to try some of your recipes and get a hair cut just like yours! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I prepared this recipe for a friend, oh, quite a while ago. Even though I messed up a little bit it still turned out delicious and we both devoured our servings. I am now planning to prepare a double batch to share some with family members. I am so excited. I think it will be a hit, especially the 2nd time around. I hope it turns out as well or better than my first attempt. I view you as the person who introduced me to the recipe. It seems like there are hundreds of people posting Coca-Cola recipes but I view you as the person who introduced me to it. I like that you remove the skin at the beginning. Nice tip. Thank-you Rachael.😅❤🎉

Rachel-I have loved to cook all of my life. For the past two years, I have been gravely ill & very nearly died. But God spared my life. During my recovery I found you. You inspire me SO MUCH to continue getting well enough to cook again! Just like you have your Ron, I have my Mike. I am determined to recover & cook & make our home nice again! Thank you so much…love & hugs from Nebraska!

I made this last night, Rachel! My family loved it! I asked what they thought the sauce was, and they said bbq sauce. I trusted the process, and it was 60 minutes, but I made double the chicken, so doubled the sauce, but the darker it got, the thicker it got. You were right, thank you!

Made this dish tonight. It took my sauce about 1 hour to cook down and thicken. My family loved it. I added extra garlic. Rachel, I have so much fun trying your recipes. Thank you!

LOL, I always get a kick out of Rachel’s measurements. “Just 1/2 a tablespoon” as she gives the bottle a dozen shakes 🤣😂 I love ya Rachel.

I made the recipe and it was delicious! I think the problem for those that said that the sauce didn't thicken up was that it takes longer to thicken up if you're not using a Dutch oven like she does. Her dutch oven is made of cast iron which retains heat very well. If you're using a regular pot (like me) it won't retain its heat as well and it'll take longer for the sauce to thicken up (closer to 1 hour). I used a cast iron like Rachel used in the video, so my chicken seared in about the same amount of time as hers. If you're not using a cast iron/carbon steel pan then it might also take longer for your chicken to sear. If that happens just follow Rachel's advice and wait for it to naturally unstick before flipping. If you take these things into consideration, then it will turn out delicious just like everyone says!

Who would have thought that a soft drink could help produce such a delicious recipe. The next time I prepare chicken, I am going to prepare coca cola chicken. I love to eat garlic and I love the smell of ginger. It sounds like a winning combination to me. Thank you for sharing this idea with us.
I like the way you repeat a recipe for several days. I like to watch the product being made. Who was it that said "a picture is worth a thousand words." It helps me remember the process and I like to listen to you. You have a nice voice along with a nice smile which tells me I can do this!
