I’m 55 yrs old. I love to play golf and when I’m not on the course, I really enjoy watching these guys play. I’m a fan!

I wrote a college business essay about how GoodGood is changing the world of golf and digital marketing through YouTube. Cool to see you guys cover them as they really are one of the most interesting things going on in the space right now.

I’ve been a massive supporter of Good Good for three years, I’ve seen a lot of interviews with Good Good where the people conducting the interview don’t come in with their own research. It showed in this episode how much Garrett, Max, and Colin respected you both for doing your research beforehand by asking thoughtful questions they hadn’t been asked before. Overall, great questions and insights into where it is today and the future of their massive brand.

Honestly Colin is definitely absolutely no doubt part of the reason why good good was so watchable. The fantastic edited videos was truly something I was craving for during COVID !! Well done Colin and Max your the backbone.

One day back I don’t even know how long ago this dude GM Golf pops up in my recommended and he was at the driving range with his girlfriend and I was like huh okay interesting. Watched a few of his videos and watched him and his friend play a golf hole that was like a mile long. Thought it was pretty awesome. Continued watching as he started to grow and have matches with other golfers that soon came to be like characters on a show. Then one day he announced he was starting a golf brand and YouTube channel “good good” and I thought to myself well that’s stupid, he’s going to ruin his own channel and no one is going to watch this. BOY WAS I WRONG. It’s been awesome watching these dudes and glad they are getting the spotlight they deserve.

Thought about this the other day on how I just randomly started watching GMs channel and was instantly hooked. So awesome to see where they are at now

I remember when the boys played one of their majors in St Andrews in absolutely godawful weather. Heavy winds and rain coming sideways most of the round. It is a truly remarkable feat that Colin and Max managed to both film and edit a 2-3 hour video that came out as well as it did in such horrendous conditions. Absolute professionals. One of my favorite vids they've ever done and a testament to their commitment and hard work.

The group is definitely what keeps GoodGood on top of golf YouTube, it’s relatable, we all might not be as good BUT we all got a few buddies that love to go out and play

I watched these guys years ago when they were "Smaller" than they are now... back when I was first addicted to Golf. Heads up, this game can be highly habit forming..

I'm classed as a senior, and have followed Garret from his very early GM golf days, with his cousin and friends helping him make content. The crossover from GM golf to Good Good, was a natural platform to build upon, and is why Good Good grew so quickly. GM golf, would likely have passed 1 million earlier than it did, currently 1.24 million, very much deserved, based on his passion for providing content for each of his subs.
Garret, has never lost his positiveness and appreciation for those who make him wealthier, as a direct result of them following and staying loyal to him. Garret has a natural flair for making good content, which people of all ages appreciate, I am proof of that. The mix of personalities is what makes Good Good and GM before it, a natural fit for those who subscribe to them.

You guys nailed it on the head. Their success is from the group dynamic. I’ve been watching good good for about three years now and I just love the personalities and goofy challenges. I love golf but for me that’s a secondary benefit to the entertainment they bring.

I’m about halfway through this interview, and they are talking about how to stay innovative with everyone trying to do the same thing. As someone who is trying to break 90 from the senior tees, for me, the reason that Good Good stands out is the personalities. Each one of the gentlemen, Garrett, Steve, Matt, Bubbie, Brad and the other golfers who rotate through for a year or so, have incredible personalities that feed off each other. I’ve been watching them since 2020, discovered them when I couldn’t leave the house because of COVID, and now I feel, in a way, I really know them because they really connect to each other and are their true selves.

There is room for everyone. It is good to have the opportunity to see various Youtube golf content. The standard of golf coaching due to youtube has gone off the scale. Great stuff.

This was a great interview. Love hearing more about how things got to this point. You can tell Garrett is very humble in not wanting to talk about the revenue side of things.

Been a GM Golf Fan since it started… the OG crew was awesome and it’s amazing to see how big they are now. Super cool and a proud fan

Garrett and good good are true pioneers and paved the way for the golf YouTube space. We’re all blessed to have them, especially Garrett, he’s done an incredible thing being the leader of this whole category of content.

Everything from the group chemistry, to the shot tracers, to the cart cam stuff, the editing, the long content, the trips, the random golf formats, etc. I’ve started watching golf girl games recently and they basically use all of these stylistic elements and then they add in crazy challenges for the losers of each episode, and it’s basically been incredible content since they locked in their core group.

Thinking aloud…I wonder how much Garrett has to do behind GGG, as an advisor, mentor or even silent partner…it was basically started right after Sabrina and Cailyn showed up on his GMGolf channel…
