5 Quick Newaza Attacks for Judo/BJJ

A quick demonstration showing 5 ways in which you can attack in ne-waza. There are plenty of ways to create an opportunity in ne-waza, more so than in tachi-waza. This is why I believe newaza is the more complex side of Judo and why it is such a shame that the IJF has been diluting it!

Well... your mileage will vary. In many Judo classes some of these attacks will not be admitted as being Ne Waza as Tori gets up completely onto his feet from Ne Waza. They are attacks out of Ne Waza, but not Ne Waza.

The last two are good for surprise attacks on lower bjj belts but I don’t see the first three working against anyone skilled.
