Review: Air Missions - HIND (Xbox One) - Defunct Games

I find myself conflicted when it comes to Air Missions: HIND. On one hand, I found the gameplay easy to learn and enjoyed flying around in the wide open stages. Unfortunately, those stages aren't very interesting and you'll end up doing the same things in just about every mission. There's fun to be had here, but it's buried under an unpolished product with ugly graphics, loads of technical issues and a story that doesn't even try to be compelling. It's occasionally exciting, but I'm not sure Air Missions: HIND is going to rekindle my love for helicopter games.

I would love for the strike series to come back, however since EA is a moneymaking company 1st and a gaming company 2nd I doubt they would. I love helicopter games so it's sad there are so few for consoles.

I doubt you will ever see the Strike series come back. EA is all about playing it safe. They were great, but those days are long gone

I don't think EA will ever bring back any of the Strike games, not enough good opportunities for micro-transactions.

But there was a fun helicopter mission in Medal of Honor (2010).

Looking at this for the Switch Lite (where I guess the graphics would be even worse) but am hesitant. I used to play Firestorm Thunderhawk 2 on the Saturn when I was a child (and liked it). I doubt I could go back to it today though... Idk seems like a helicopter game, arcade- OR sim-like, would get old quick for an adult me unless it brings something special (?).

I don't think EA will bring back the Strike series, it just doesn't have much appeal in the modern gaming landscape.

Why doesn't any reviewer mention anything about frames per second? I prefer smooth fps over graphics.

Having played quite a bit of this game. I find this review particularly harsh. There are a few reeally annoying things that seem incomplete but over all the game is just so enjoyable that it's easy to overlook some of the shortcomings.
