Election: Texas purges voter rolls of over 1 million voters | FOX 7 Austin

Governor Greg Abbott announced the removal of more than one million voters from voter rolls in the state of Texas. The governor says the ongoing purge is to protect the integrity of the election and crackdown on illegal voting.

How does it make it harder to figure out if you can vote or not do you have a valid state ID and are you a United States citizen? That makes it pretty plain and I find the absolutely stupid and annoying that they're trying to make it sound horrible that they would want to have an honest election.

Good. This should happen here in California. The secretary of state never answers if the voter rolls have been clean before any elections. Valid I.D. must be shown to vote. Why is it so scary to the Democrats?

Checked my registration and saw I was suspended. Got a little voter card in the mail to reconfirm I still existed in Texas. Easily put my Texas residency and confirm I still lived in my registered precinct. Few days later the county clerk reactivated my voter status as active. Really don't know why people's arms are getting all twisted over this.

Why is anyone upset about the people that were taken off the rolls? Whats wrong with crossing"t's" and dotting "I's"? Just to make sure the elections in this state have as much integrity as it can. Calling people names that agree with this is absurd. C'mon people, do better.

Anybody who's thinking about not voting, please just go vote. I know it's hard to think your vote matters sometimes, but don't take the risk this year. This election is way too important to risk not voting
