Originally Released in 1975, legendary Jamaican saxophone player Tommy McCook plays over The Aggrovators.

Born Thomas Matthew McCook in Havana, Cuba, Tommy McCook and his family moved to Jamaica in 1933. Just 10 years later, he would be performing live gigs. Throughout the 50's, Tommy McCook would move throughout the Caribbean before coming back home to Jamaica in 1962, independence time.

Soon after returning to Jamaica, he would end up becoming a founding member of The Skatalites with Lester Sterling, Roland Alphonso, and Don Drummond just to name a few. He would later perform with Bobby Ellis, Yabby You, and of course Bunny "Striker" Lee's studio band, The Aggrovators.

Tommy McCook would continue to play all the way up until 1995 when he could no longer play due to health complications. Tommy McCook passed away 3 years later in 1998 in Atlanta, Georgia at 71 years old.
