Local Nevada residents better hope interest rates don't get lowered; or your average Californian will be back there in a heart beat; because 600k at 4 % is nothing for your average Californian when you can't even afford the ghetto in California for 600k

They blew your prices to the moon then they find the next "cheapest" place to go and swarm that one next.

Probably because the ones trying to move here realized it’s already too infested with the very people they are running from. 😂

Good, but I imagine this is because most of them already moved here.

Because they fucked up the city so much its now East California.

Beach and nice weather isn’t enough to trade for: high taxes, gas tax, wanting to impose commuting tax, exit tax, high crime, 1/3 of the US homeless population, wanting to mutilate and transition children, insurance companies leaving, businesses leaving due to regulations and high operating costs, not tough on crime, low education standards, I could keep going

Cali jacked up the prices, now they leaving. Thanks a lot.

The house prices in California are insane. But for those of us who are doing good. We’re staying. I love California. Except for the homelessness problem in a part of LA, I consider it one of the best and beautiful states in the US. Nevada has its own problems as well. I visited Reno, Laughlin and yes hundred times in Las Vegas, but never had I wished to stay there permanently, I still prefer to reside in California.

I mean, yea… there isn’t shit to do in Vegas but race soccer moms to a red light 🚦 & dodge drunk drivers 😂

Best choice. I ever made was moving out of California very sad though. Because I love that place, but what the democrats have turned it in. It is not California anymore. Leave while you can before it's too late.

If you put your kids in the Vegas public school system, most likely they will become one of the smash 💥 and grab crew

I moved to Cincinnati from Florida in 2015.. now, I see so many licence plates from California, Arizona, Texas, Nevada etc it's like %20 of the cars here. Housing, while still affordable for a large city is getting more expensive. When I moved here I thought Cincinnati was a small city, it's not!.

Cincinnati is a bunch of small unincorporated areas surrounded by the city but not included in the census making it appear small by the numbers.

I'm glad I made the move, but I worry that a bunch of people will continue to move here from coastal cities.

Because Vegas is gross AF. CRIME PARADISE.

So basically people are moving to where it's cheaper and cheaper. Eventually where the flock goes, the prices rise. Where does one go when nothing is affordable?

The truth is the damage is done. We wanted to head to Vegas as well (not dems lol) but now it’s basically the same deal. The ones that moved and took their Cali beliefs with them ruined it. Then again the whole country is sideways so can’t blame anyone but our government.

The desire to move is still there, but 2023-24 total volume of home sales has also gone down

Nevada isn’t worth the hype. The drinking water is really bad and their laws are seriously flawed and make no sense. These homes are not worth paying for, the beach is way nicer than watching brown rocks everywhere and let’s be honest some Vegas areas are just ugly and traffic is blocked everywhere.
