(1/x)=(1/8)-(3/5) LCD: 40x
40x(1/x)=40x(1/8)-40x(3/5)
40=5x-24x
40=-19x
x=-40/19 solution

4(x-7)=x+2
4x-28=x+2
4x-x=28+2
3x=30
