A lot of people bitching about Modest Mouse. Just wanted to say we live in an era where artists will entirely sample another artists song in artistic expression. Everyone takes inspiration from other sources. To imply that Modest Mouse needs to rip off of Sonic Youth is asinine. Isaac Brock has competed many wonderful original songs so don’t be nasty

Check out Blame it on the Tetons from Modest Mouse. MM is my favorite all time but there is a good chance they ripped this song almost completely.

Modest mouse has been my favorite band for 15 years and i I'm just dont see how blame it on the tetons has anything at all l to do with this lyrically or soundwise.
