Nice job... Just wondering what it costs for an OEM Toyota condenser and what the total bill to the customer was on this.
I did my 2014 Rav4 for a cost of $170 for an aftermarket condenser which fit perfect and works well. Also 1-2 cans of r-134a refrigerant. I have a vacuum pump and gage set. I guessed at about 1 oz of oil and I was pretty close to what you had.
Also, what the heck kind of fitting is that on the lower tube. The 2014 has both flanges with a 10mm hex screw. Easy remove and replace. Thanks

Great detailed video. Do you happen to know the O ring toyota part number? And would it be the same for a 2012 Rav4? Thank you.

Hey man, I appreciate the help so much. One more question. I am putting mine back together (a 2022) and the kit came with a plastic cap and media (I think that’s what it is) to put in the dryer on the condenser. I didn’t see this in your video and was confused and searched up the number. The number linked me to exactly what I had but it was on a ford parts website for a Ford. My dryer on the condenser already has a cap in the dryer part. Can you shed any light on this?

When I reinstall the condenser, should I add in the oil myself before I drive over to get the AC recharged, or should I have the shop add in the condenser oil and charge the system with refrigerant.

Hey man, is this process the same for the 2022 Toyota RAV4 LE FWD NOT hybrid? I am figuring out the condenser is slightly different than the 2019-2021. But is the process the same?

Excellent video Drew!!! I've liked and subscribed to your channel.
I have a 2021 RAV4 Prime that dealer said there a pinhole leak in my condenser but my A/C is still cold.
Do you think I can use some J-B Weld to stop the leak?
Thanks, Michael

Have you done one on the hybrid rav4? specifically the plug in? Are there any difference? ( 884A0-42050 ) is the part # for the plug in. Thanks!

What is the difference between this part (884A0-3320 A/C Condenser Assembly) and (884A0-06020 A/C Condenser Assembly)? Both parts fit my RAV4 and it is not a Hybrid.
I'm just double checking before I go out and buy a part not meant for my car.

That plastic clip for the ac line is the dumbest design.
