That's a very neat concept, how much power does it generate? Those turbines looked fairly small so the power output must be fairly low although if you built more of them, used a larger turbine etc this could be quite a nice little power generator - it also avoids the main issue of solar power: storage

That's interesting but look at the hardware behind all that. How much energy would this device have to create to manufacture itself, or could it.

Seriously, that giant contraption to fill a handful of cylinders, a chainsaw engine could do it in a few hours.
Just never going to work

So any seaside town could have its own power source from wave motion. Genius idea. You couldn’t get greener energy than that.

Saltwater doesn't like anything. Hydraulics included 👀🤔

I just opened a small stock position on them. My only question is if the company has stated anything about their plan to compete with the potential incoming nuclear market?

Amazing May I ask where is this site located? USA or UK ?

Pumped storage is essentially the same concept. Not revolutionary. It all comes down to power density and scalability.

Except when they start leaking hydraulic fluid into the ocean

This IS NOT without cost. That wave energy has a purpose. I don't know all the ways it contributes, but taking the energy depletes or eliminates some of that contribution. Same with windmills. There is no free lunch.
