Really great sound! Just bought a second-handed op-z and trying to learn everything related. Your channel is one of the best. But still, feel a bit uncomfortable in drums-making theory as well as melodies making. Currently only trying to repeat something I watched on youtube.
Should I spend a bit more time learning how to properly make drums and melodies to make my own ideas or proper music feeling could just be gained by just practice?

Hi, may I ask at 5:33, when you enter a note on a step you press another step button. What is the function of it? Still new to OP-Z. I always find your video helpful!

I'm confused on the Snare. It seems that when you do the Hi hat it is a 1 bar phrase at ~72BPM. When I go to do the snare and put it on step 5, it is on the second beat. But yours is on the & of 1at 72bpm). Am I missing something? using this as a learning guide and this one has me stumped. Thanks!
