What is it? Too expensive for what you get. And AWS is having problems with reliability lately. We have a number of SAAS apps running in AWS that have been down a number of times in 1 month.

Well, I am stumped. I am a Vmware VCP and AWS certified too. I just don't understand why bother to install VMware in the AWS data center. If you have an AWS account just go ahead and do all you want in the AWS Console. Why do I need Vmware?
I needed Vmware ESXi when we were doing all our virtualization on the 5th floor of our building. Once that era had passed I don't need Vmware.
To be honest, I loved Vmware as much as anyone (8 or 10 years ago), but this seems to be an instance of "The Better is the enemy of the Good". Vmware is good, AWS is better.
I kiss Vmware goodbye, but I just don't need it anymore.
