I actually like the Smart Electric Heater quite a lot. I’ve lived in Eastern Europe and Bulgaria where many apartments are small and come without any kind of heating, thus making these heaters very convenient. I also really love the automation features, because it makes my house even more smarter than it already is and I don’t have to think about turning on or off the heater. There’s one thing to keep in mind. This device is standing on the ground and becoming quite warm, so I wouldn’t use it when there are smaller children in the house and opt for a different way of heating certain rooms.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a tool to measure how much electricity it consumes, but if I calculate it correctly, the device consumes 2kW per hour. In the Netherlands 1kwh is priced at around 22 cents, making the total for letting the device run 8 hours 3,5 euro’s, or 106 euro’s for a month which sounds reasonable to me.

Hello from Portugal. Comparing this model with the smartmi heater 1s (the one you reviewed last year), which one do you think is better? Which keeps the environment in a room warmer more efficiently? Thanks. keep up the good work.

Great video, thanks!! Quick question, I have got the Xiaomi Tower Heater Lite and I am not so happy with it because it is very loud and also you cannot adjust the fan speed, so it's no ideal to keep in a bedroom. I came across your video and see a lot of similarities between the Tower Heater Lite and the Smart Fan, however this is rated at lower noise levels. Do you have any recommendation between the two? Can I adjust fan speed on this one? Many thanks, been searching for info for a week haha. Help is highly appreciated

Great video. Will be good for those European winters. In South Africa December is peak summer for us. So a nice Xiaomi fan would be good for me.

hello, i have buy this product. In the application it seam i can specifie a temperature goal. But it don't work.
Did this have a thermostat ? Or is it only with a temperature sensor xiaomi connected that i can use this function ?

Doesn't work with google assistant, and the build in temperature sensor doesn't work well. So if you set a temperature in the app the room temperature fluctuates like crazy

I use the TP Link HS110 to monitor energy usage of the lamps and heating elements of my leopard gekkos. I can definitely recommend them, also integrating nicely with Google Home and Home Assistant!

Die heb ik ook. helaas werkt de kachel alleen in de Chinese server als het gaat over de mi app 😩 maar het is een top ding. Leuke video🙌🏽
