Farm Aid’s mission is to build a vibrant, family farm-centered system of agriculture in America. Farm Aid artists and board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Margo Price host an annual festival to raise funds to support Farm Aid’s work with family farmers and to inspire people to choose family farm food. For more than 35 years, Farm Aid, with the support of the artists who contribute their performances each year, has raised more than $60 million to support programs that help farmers thrive, expand the reach of the Good Food Movement, take action to change the dominant system of industrial agriculture and promote food from family farms.

He's been my favorite in music for 50+ years and I still pray to see him in concert. I refuse to die until I see him. I'm old so I don't have lots of time left! Rock on to the most genuinely creative artist I know!!

I’ll tell you what I really miss watching this clip. It Is the girl who played violin. She was awesome and she’s been with him for years. Miss hearing her play.We probably got 57% of the total Mellencamp experience that you would normally get in a concert. I’ve seen him in concert quite a few times and they are awesome. Yes this isn’t bad. I don’t know if they had to limit the number of people because of policy restrictions. I did see folks in the audience wear a mask but that’s our choice. Everyone is entitled to their choice

i saw John Cougar when he opened for Heart YEARS ago, he got booed while he was singing "Jack and Diane" (his first hit and one of the only songs the audience knew), i felt bad for the guy, he was just starting out!

I have been a fan of John Mellencamp going all the way back to the great Chestnut Street incident album in 1979. So for well over 40 years I have been a huge fan of this fan and his music. I am on the other side of the aisle when it comes to politics but that doesn’t dampen my love of his music. So I want to make a couple really quick observations on this right here. First off where is the rest of the band? This is a very bare-bones offering as far as the band is concerned. The ones are here play really well and I do like to hear them but I was just curious. Also who is this female tambourine player? when I turn into see John Mellencamp, I want to see John Mellencamp singing John Mellencamp songs. But I don’t want to say some tambourine player singing John Mellencamp songs. Does she have a good voice? It’s not bad. But I would prefer to hear Mellencamp saying even with his gravelly voice. I don’t wanna hear someone who is not Mellencamp their melon count socks.
With all of the observations out-of-the-way let me say this. Everything John has done for the farmer through farmers and other methods has been nothing short of amazing. A lot of people have been help. And for that guy and the rest of America I’m grateful for what he’s done. I hope we have many more years of Mellencamp music

Time for John to try and get Larry Crane and Kenny Arnorff back in the band after years away. He can keep the absolutely beautiful Morgan Higgins but gotta get the boys back together. It never sounded the same after those two left.
