It’s easy to keep them away from your house by taming and breeding a bunch of cats and then positioning them around your base, the creepers will run away from the cats so they are good to have around if you hate creepers

Putting torches on spawners don’t disable them, the light levels do so it was probably dark when it spawned

Brewing stands don’t need silk touch, just a stone pickaxe and above, dunno about wood but all you need is a pickaxe

Mikey is doing really well for his first time on his own and I understand that he already played with some friends but its still impressive to me as it took me months to learn some of the basic mechanics.
