Elements, HEED MY CALL!

For my upcoming Circle of Stars Druid, I intend to take some of those: namely Resilient (CON) and War Caster. I might choose Fey Touched as well. But I’ll have to decide whether to max my WIS at level 4 or take Resilient first.

As for other possible feats not included on this list…
* Magic Initiate (WIS) for a few extra cantrips seeing as druids only get 4 at most (plus one more depending on your Druidic circle). The additional 1st-level spell would also help.
* Medium Armor Master for any compatible medium armor that has stealth disadvantage such as scale mail, which could be made out of actual animal scales instead of metal. Also, the ability to add +3 from DEX.
* Tough for extra HP.
* Spell Sniper (WIS) to boost the range of those rare cantrips or spells that require attack rolls, such as Magic Stone, Thorn Whip, and Ice Knife. Being able to ignore cover also helps.

Druids are my favorite class to play. I particularly enjoy playing changeling druids for infiltrating (ie: the fly on the wall). I've made loxodon druids before and they are awesome because I like to rely on CON more than DEX for AC.

Personal fave feats to take for Druid are fey touched (just for access to Misty Step and the Sleep spell), telepathic (because my DMs ruled that you could communicate while wild shaped) and observant (because we need folk with high PP in our group).

Funnily enough I like giving my Druids high mental stats because of the straight benefits it gives to your wildshape. But it came at the cost of my DEX.

Elements, heed my call!

I definitely like resilient constitution and telekinetic for most druids. The bonus action available in different forms and the saving throw proficiency that also transfers to the forms is pretty good. Especially since some of the creatures actually have decent constitution scores.

I like sentinel for a moon Druid. Some of the beast options have powerful single attacks and being able to use one of those as a reaction when an ally is attacked next to you can pack a punch. Savage attacker, which is normally an awful feat, can also be useful on those beast attacks with large numbers of dice on single hits.

Probably good enough to make the list somewhere are the piercing slasher or crusher feats. For example, piercer helps you both with your spears and darts but also with your animal form bites that do piercing or crusher with those club, sling and staff attacks as well as animal charges, stomps and grapples.

Elements heed my call! Great video - laughed especially hard with your use of a hedgehog (an incredibly visually impaired creature) as a stand-in for a creature with keen eyes :D

Elements, HEED MY CALL!!!

I’m playing a circle of spores Druid (a devotee of Moonshine) named Fionn. Pronounced Finn. He’s a Firbolg Fey Giant and looks forward to being a necromancer without playing a necromancer. We just reached lvl.3 in our adventure league and I think Fey Touched will be my first upgrade.

Elephants, head my gall! What about Mobile? Allows your druid to move in, attack with Shillelagh, and move out of range again. Useful if you have poor armour and only average hit points. Also, you can move normally through your own AoE spells that create difficult terrain. Or Shield Master would let you use your bonus action to shove people back into your AoE spells, and also improve your dexterity saves.

Thank you! A Druid is my first ever character, and this helped me make my first feat vs ASI choice. You’re appreciated!

ELEMENTS HEAD MY CALL!

Good video! I've got a moon druid (10) that's going to start an MC into Paladin (watchers) in a heavy demons/angels campaign. I very much look forward to delivering justice for the primal plane by smiting as am elemental.

For the Yggdrasil!

Elements Heed My Call!

Great video. I hadn't thought of using some of these with a druid but now you have my mind racing with new ideas.

Also, heck yes to being a warcraft fan.

Druids( along with monks) are the class i have the least experience with. i've only played moon druid in the past and i'm considering playing another moon druid in a future campaign (though i might play another sorc, not decided yet). The top 5 feat choices i'd make though are still similar to most caster classes though some i made due to being a moon druid:

1. telepathic- this is how i'd round out an odd wis. being able to communicate in wild shape imo is essential.

2. resilient con- need to maintain that concen spell while wild shaped.

3. alert- always useful to go 1st so you can gain the defensive benefits of being wild shaped early.

4. martial adept/fighting initiate (superior technique) or sentinel- some beast shapes have interesting riders on their attacks like the giant constrictor snake. giving yourself a way to gain reaction attacks allows you to gain more value from those special attacks if it turns out those beast shapes are your most used shapes. this is also great for action economy as most of the time wild shaped druids aren't doing anything with their reaction.

5. gift of the gem/metallic/chromatic- similar to #4 this maximizes the druid's reaction where they have limited choices since they can't cast spells while wild shaped. this gives them some defensive options for their reaction even while wild shaped.

Great list. I've used War Caster on my human moon druid since day 1. At level 8 I'm seriously looking at Resilience (CON) for all the same reasons you listed here. Trying to find feats that benefit both the normal form and the wild shape is a feat in and of itself.

I wish Mage Armour stacked with natural armour. If it did then Eldritch Adept (Armour of shadows) would be a great choice. I really see no reason why it shouldn't stack other than an artificial "game balance" thing. My wild shaped druid with mage armour added would put the character about equal to the character in human form with studded leather and a shield.

ELEMENTS HEED MY CALL! I don't know for sure but i got the impression that a lot of consideration was given to moondruids. I will be playing a melee focused circle of stars druid and Metamagic adept really caught my eye. Particulary quicken (to bonus action those nice concentration spells and still do something like primal savagery) and transmuted spell (in order to literally control the elements). Eldritch adept gives some more options on making druids more druidy, such as beast speech and eldritch sight ("your senses are so keen you smell magic"). Perhaps i'm whiteboarding way to much.

Elements, HEED MY CALL!

I just rolled a Circle of the Wildfires Druid and I am playing a tiefling. So I think I'm going to take flames of phlegethos. It adds some pretty good flavor and getting to reroll ones on fire damage is pretty good, also I will have a pretty low AC so the d4 of fire protection helps a little bit in melee as a deterrent. Not sure if this really outranks any of these feats, but a different take on wildfires druid.

Elements, HEED MY CALL! Druids are one of my favorite to play. Unless I am going heavy wild shape and melee, I found that Spell Sniper is one of the best feats to take. Think of charging enemies or a pack of creatures, throw long ranged spells even at low level like moonbeam and spike growth can be massive. If you have a water encounter use heat metal to detonate powered in cannon or flood their ship with attacking fey spirts with conjure animals.
